Located on the site of the former Colorado Department of Transportation headquarters, Krisana will transform a site into more than 800 units of housing, a vibrant retail center and ample amounts of green space.
The site will feature a neighborhood park, a grocery store and space for a variety of new restaurants and retail for all of Denver to enjoy. Improvements will also be made to transportation in the area, including the installation of Denver B-cycle stations, the creation of bike lanes and updating of traffic lights in the area. The development will also incorporate design elements featured in the nearby Krisana Park and Virginia Village neighborhoods to ensure cohesion with the unique aesthetic of the surrounding community.
A public-private partnership between Kentro Group, Lexton McDermott and the Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) made the redevelopment of this previously blighted site near Virginia Village a reality.
Lexton McDermott team will lead on all aspects of the 150 units of affordable housing included within the project and our partner property management company, ComCap Management, will be responsible for all property management and compliance work for these units.
The project is scheduled to break ground in the Summer 2021.
