Southern Villas Apartments

Conveniently located at the corner of Southern Boulevard and Monfort, Southern Villas Apartments was a market-rate apartment complex in Dallas, Texas. The property offered high quality living accommodations for young professionals in the booming North Dallas area.

Just a block from one of the region’s premier shopping destinations, The Dallas Galleria, and a short drive from the Shops at Addison. The property is also conveniently located near the junction of the North Dallas Tollroad and 635 which offers residents a 20 minute commute of the wide-range of corporate headquarters that are clustered in North Dallas, Richardson, Addison and Plano.

Upon acquisition, Southern Villas required a number of operational and capital improvements to maximize returns.

Lexton McDermott’s successor firm, the Lexton Group, got to work updating all aspects of the property from interior finishes within each unit and common area improvements which resulted in the property achieving full occupancy within a matter of months.

The property offered a resort-style pool, fitness center and several courtyards that residents could enjoy with their family and friends.

Southern Villas Apartments was sold in 2007 and currently under the name The Chelsea on Southern.
