Cheryl Gonzales

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Cheryl Gonzales brings more than 35 years of financial management experience to the Lexton McDermott team. She has primarily focused her career in the real estate industry and specializes in multi-family apartments including both affordable and market rate properties.

As Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl oversees the financial accounting and reporting for Lexton McDermott’s development along with the organization’s partner firms ComCap Management and Harmonics Construction Services which focus on property management and construction respectively. She is also responsible for all bank relationships and construction accounting, including the loan draw process once a developed property is under construction.

Before joining Lexton McDermott, Cheryl held roles as a CPA at Peat, Marwick and Mitchell (now KMPG) and the Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO).

When she isn’t at the office, Cheryl is active as a volunteer in her local church and enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with her grandchildren.

Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Colorado State University of Pueblo.
